These are two photos with invisible lines by Werner Bischof. A visible line is when the viewer’s eye traverses between two points, creating a line, regardless if a physical line is not present. I demonstrated three different photos to show physical lines such as in the photo with the cat, and lines that were more ambiguous in the picture of the man on the street and the miners.
I was not able to find an interview with Werner.

All of these pictures are powerful in some sense. Abbas captures the moments and events that I too hope to capture someday. I feel his portraits and use of invisible lines are extremely effective and make the pictures more interesting and compelling.
