Week 2
This is a photo I took this weekend on my way to Via del Corso. It is a picture of a local bookstore.

I love landscape photos, and this is one I recently came across that could be one of my new favorites. It is taken in Navarra, Spain. The photo is taken by Charlie Waite. I like how the landscape includes mountains, water, and pine trees. I am an outdoors person and it reminds me of hiking outdoors.

The depth of film is defined as the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene. The picture above has great depth considering the far mountains in the view and also the close up pine trees.

Week 3
This is a picture I took in Florence. It was a very sunny day and I liked the view of the river and the houses. I like the blue sky and the green river with the colorful buildings and houses.

Week 4
I took this picture in a store on the island of Murano in Venice. I like the different types of glass chandeliers in the picture and I think the glass items in this store were all very pretty.

ISO is the indication of how sensitive the film is to light. The lower the number, the lower the sensitivity to light (Digital Photography School)

Analysis of Lines: Trente Parke
I think his invisible line is common horizontally around the center point of the picture.

Trente Parke's Photos: http://www.magnumphotos.com/C.aspx?VP3=CMS3&VF=MAGO31_10_VForm&ERID=24KL534BCY

Trente Parke was born in 1971 and raised in Newcastle, New South Wales. He used his mothers Pentax Spotmatic and his laundry room as a darkroom. He began taking photos around age 12. Today, he is the only Australian photographer to be represented by Magnum. He primarily is a street photographer (Magnum Photos).

35 mm camera

This photo was taken with Squared 6 by 6 cm camera, it is perfectly exposed , it is grainy so it high ISO. Lighting is natural without flash. It was probably taken cast over day because it is possible to see shadows but not a fake lightning such as lanterns or flashlights. The diaphragm is closed because everything perfectly sharp. The depth of film The quality of the black and white is

Technical aspect:
Film Chemicals
Developer, Water, Fixer
Times depend on the type of film used

1) Developer: made up of sodium sulfite that helps remove the light sensitive coat on the film to expose the photographic negative
Developer is made with 50mL developer and 450 mL water

2) After developer add 500 mL water, to stop the reaction between the film emulsion and the developer

3) Fixer: a solution of several chemicals that remove the rest of the silver emulsion. The film is no longer sensitive to light
Fixer is made with 100 mL fixer and 400 mL water
The fixer is tested by putting the end of the film strip in for 30 seconds

4) After this process film can be treated with shampoos that remove the film processing chemicals from the film
